Your data
Version 1.0.1 · effective from 22 October 2026
You have the right to a copy of the data we hold about you, and to take the data you gave us yourself to another service (Articles 15 and 20 GDPR). This page explains how to get your data, what the package contains, what is not included — and how to exercise your other rights.
How to get your data
In the app:
- Open the ⋯ menu and choose “Trust & Privacy” → “Your data” → “Download my data”.
- Tick “I want a copy of my data now” and tap “Start download”.
- Confirm it’s you: sign in again before we send your data. It’s the only way we can be sure it’s you.
- Putting the package together can take a few minutes. You can download it in the app as soon as it’s ready — we’ll also let you know in your inbox.
You receive a single archive (a zip file). The package stays available in the app for 7 days. For your security, each download link is only created when you tap, and it works for just a few minutes. After that the package is deleted on our side and you can ask for a new one.
The first copy is free. There are 30 days between two requests; the app tells you when you can ask for a new copy.
Without the app: Write to privacy@zofound.com. We reply within one month.
What the package contains
The overview. The file oversigt.html is the package’s readable front page. It explains why we process your data, what data is involved, who receives it, how long we keep it, what rights you have, where you can complain, where the data comes from, and what we decide automatically. The same explanation is available as plain text in the LÆS-MIG files (Danish, German and English).
The manifest. The file manifest.json is the formal overview the law requires — the same content as the overview, in a fixed form. It is also provided in Danish, German and English (manifest.da.json, manifest.de.json, manifest.en.json).
Your data by area. The data is in the data/ folder:
| File | Contents |
|---|---|
profil.json |
Your profile: name, date of birth, gender, city, languages, interests and your own description — plus everything else that belongs to the profile. |
konto.json |
The state of your account with us: counters, internal notes about the account and any deletion request. |
placering.json |
Your location with us: your latest current position (rounded to city level), your home coordinate and your consent log for the coach’s location questions — when, in which channel and whether you said yes or no. |
login.json |
Your sign-in account: how you sign in, when the account was created, when you last signed in, and whether you use two-factor. |
samtykker.json |
The consents you gave: what you accepted, which version of the text applied, when — anything you later withdrew, and the choices you said no to (which version and when). |
verificering.json |
Your verification: whether and when you were verified, the number of attempts, the automatic comparison score of your latest attempt, any failure reason and lock — and whether you asked for a manual review. |
verificering-profilbilleder.json |
If you have separate photos in Romance or Friendship: the result of the automatic comparison of each of them with your verification selfie — outcome, comparison score, the threshold and model used, which selfie was used and when. |
matches.json |
The mutual connections you have had. Other people appear as a pseudonym. |
kontakt.json |
Contact requests, calls and your own suggestions for meeting up. |
beskeder-sendt.json |
The messages you sent yourself. Never the ones others sent to you. |
events.json |
Your sign-ups, participations, check-ins and feedback. |
faellesskaber.json |
The communities you are part of and your own posts. |
abonnement.json |
Your plan, your add-ons and your credits. |
koeb.json |
Receipt data: product, time and purchase number. Never card details. |
kvoter.json |
Counters for what your plan includes. |
coach.json |
Your conversations with the coach, including transcripts. |
sikkerhed.json |
Decisions about you, reports you submitted, your blocks and your verification. |
support.json |
Your enquiries to us and our replies. |
push.json |
The devices signed up for messages from the app. The key used to send them is not included — it would be a key to your phone. |
_ukendte.json |
Data about you that does not yet have a fixed place in the overview. It is included here because nothing may disappear silently. |
Your own messages are held by our messaging provider rather than by us, so your own device fetches them and puts them in the package while you wait. If the app was closed, or did not get through the whole history, the file says so — and you can ask for a new copy with the app open.
Photos and video. The medier/ folder contains your profile photos (including those not approved yet), your verification images — treat them as sensitive — and images you sent yourself in a conversation. The file medier-index.json is the key to the images: file name, time and the consent you gave. If there were more photos and videos than the package can hold, the package says so — write to us and we will find another way for the rest.
Two rights, one package. The right of access gives you everything we process about you — including what we derived or observed ourselves. The right to data portability covers only what you gave us yourself, and only what we process in order to deliver the service to you. The portable part is marked in the overview so you can separate it out.
Is the package complete? The package tells you itself. If an area could not be retrieved, the package says so, together with what you can do.
What is not disclosed — and why
An omission belongs in the package. Here is what we hold back, with the reason for each point — in the same wording as in the package.
The series of numbers we derive from your profile (768 numbers) (Article 20 · Recital 63). The series of numbers is not something you gave us — it is our own derivation, and 768 numbers tell you nothing. Instead we state what it is derived from (your profile text, your interests, your coach conversation and the wishes for a partner you wrote yourself) and what it is used for (finding profiles similar to yours). Ask us if you want to know more about how the suggestions are found.
Who reported you, and the verbatim text of the report (Article 15(4)). That is another person’s data, and disclosing it would make reporting unsafe. You instead receive the count, category, date and outcome — that is, the decision about you. If you disagree with a decision, you can ask for a person to look at it again.
The messages other people sent to you (Article 15(4)). Those are other people’s words about themselves, and they are not disclosed — not later either. A conversation has two sides, and only one of them asked for this copy. You can read the whole conversation in the app for as long as it exists. Your own sent messages are included.
Our subscription provider’s own analysis of where you came from (Article 20). That is derived information we did not receive from you, and it falls outside the right to take your data with you. Instead we give you our own complete record of your plan, your add-ons and your purchases — it is in the subscription and purchases file.
Your rights
| Right | How to exercise it | Response time |
|---|---|---|
| Access (Article 15) | In the app: ⋯ → “Trust & Privacy” → “Your data” → “Download my data”. Or write to privacy@zofound.com. | In the app: the package is put together in a few minutes. By email: within one month. |
| Rectification (Article 16) | You can edit your profile yourself in the app at any time. If something cannot be changed in the app, write to privacy@zofound.com. | In the app: you change it yourself. By email: within one month. |
| Erasure (Article 17) | In the app: ⋯ → “Account” → “Delete your account”. Without the app: privacy@zofound.com. See Delete your account. | The account is deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 14 days. By email: reply within one month. |
| Restriction of processing (Article 18) | Write to privacy@zofound.com and we will restrict the processing while we look into it. You can also make your profile invisible to others in the meantime. | Within one month. |
| Objection (Article 21) | You control notifications about your own activity in your device settings and in the app settings; every marketing message contains an unsubscribe route. To object to the processing we carry out on the basis of a legitimate interest (for example safety): privacy@zofound.com. | Notifications: you change them yourself. Otherwise: within one month. |
| Data portability (Article 20) | The part of the package you gave us yourself is marked in the overview and can be taken to another service. Transfer to another provider: privacy@zofound.com. | As for access. |
| Withdrawing consent (Article 7(3)) | Location in your device settings; notifications in the app settings; a coach reading chat in the app’s privacy settings; you can view and change your other choices — including the coach’s reading in video — under ⋯ → “Trust & Privacy” → “Your data”. You withdraw the two special consents (who you’re looking for, and selfie verification) directly in the app under ⋯ → “Trust & Privacy” (“Withdraw”) — we then delete the data concerned, for verification including the selfie. Everything else via privacy@zofound.com. This applies going forward and does not affect what has already happened. | In the app: you change it yourself. By email: within one month. |
| Complaint (Article 77) | You may complain to a supervisory authority — in Denmark to Datatilsynet (datatilsynet.dk) as the controller’s authority, or to the authority of your habitual residence, place of work or the place of the alleged infringement; in Germany therefore to the competent state data protection authority or the BfDI. | — |
We reply within one month; for complex requests we may extend by two further months and will tell you. The first copy is free.
How we otherwise process your data is set out in our privacy policy. Questions: privacy@zofound.com.
