About ZoFound
Hi, I’m Jan. I’m from Denmark, and I built ZoFound, launching in 2026.
I’ve been single and used dating apps for more than ten years. It has taught me a lot — both about meeting people online and about sitting across from them on a real date. I’ve also spent more than four years as an architect and developer on another dating app, so I know the industry from the inside as well.
The idea
The idea came about because I was tired of dating having become so text-based and exhausting to deal with. I’d rather let people meet for real — face to face — just online. The answer was speed dating.
On ZoFound you can meet new people in the middle of everyday life: right where you are in life, and when it fits your calendar. My hope is that a meeting online turns into a meeting in real life.
The foundation — what I build on
I’ve tried more than ten dating apps myself and watched the market turn into more of a game than a serious tool that connects people in a relevant and respectful way. My vision is to make it relevant again: an app that actually works for you — simple and easy to find your way around.
On ZoFound we help you find a relationship in a responsible and respectful way — without the noise of endless swipes, ghosting and so many choices that you end up tired of choosing. Instead, you get regular introductions from our coaches, picked for you. You’re never overloaded, and there’s room to really get to know the person behind the introduction.
I want everyone who signs up to ZoFound to take responsibility and to have a genuine intention of meeting other people with respect. We help you make the decisions — and plan a date when you’re ready.
Every member has to be verified before they can take part on the platform at all. And you only become visible to others once you’ve had a conversation with your coach — Zoe or Felix — and the two of you have built your personal profile together, with your preferences and what you’re looking for in a relationship. That’s why you won’t come across impersonal or “blank” profiles on ZoFound.

My intention is to introduce people to each other in an intelligent way, where their qualities come through — and relationships begin.
The vision
I developed ZoFound as a social platform and a tool for creating relationships between people.
One app, two entrances. Some are looking for romance, others for friendship — and sometimes both. On ZoFound you have both entrances in the same app, so it’s easy both to find and to be found.
Friendship
Here, communities, events and voice rooms bring people together and create new relationships.
What both have in common is ZoFound’s two coaches. They find new introductions for you based on the personal profile you wrote together with your coach. Zoe and Felix are with you in Romance and Friendship – you choose who you talk to.
